C++ Gameplay Developer

We are looking for a Gameplay Programmer to reinforce the gameplay team in Prague. You will cooperate directly with the Lead Programmer and other programmers to implement and expand gameplay features for a new game project. This entails solving technical challenges, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of enthusiastic game developers, and contributing to enhancing the experience of players. Responsibilities

• Design and implement core foundations for gameplay systems in collaboration with the engine team
• Challenge yourself in C++ optimization and architecture
• Mentoring of less experienced team members
• Be responsible for your feature’s network, memory, GPU, and CPU usage
• Provide consultations to leads about technical decisions

Education/Skills

• Good knowledge of C++ is mandatory
• Very good understanging of OOP design
• Effective problem solving skills
• Self-driven, but still team oriented
• Good communicator, even with non-technical people (game designers, artists, animators etc.)
• A passion to work with creative teammates to build something outstanding

Big plus:

• Knowledge of a gameplay development
• Experience with large projects/engines
• Passion for sandbox games
