Front - end developer

The role of Front-End Software Engineer involves overseeing the complete software development cycle for both new and existing software applications. It necessitates regular collaboration with colleagues and various departments to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.

The Menu Management team is a brand-new team supposed to work on portfolio of products that enables restaurant staff to service customers at their table with online connection to the cloud back office, improving ordering precision and speed of service while reducing operation cost. The entire solution includes multiple tech stacks, and this team’s focus is on backend services running in GCP/Azure dealing with digital menu management. Essential Functions:

• Collaborate on the design, modification, implementation, and documentation of software applications.
• Provide accurate work estimates based on in-depth knowledge and experience in the relevant field.
• Develop product specifications, designs, and technical documentation.
• Strategize and execute testing approaches for various aspects of our products, both internally and externally.
• Ensure seamless integration with third-party products, operating systems, and existing software.
• Act as a mentor to guide newly onboarded engineers.
• Assume ownership and accountability for assigned tasks, leveraging experience and environment knowledge to make informed development decisions.

Secondary Functions:

• Deliver both technical and non-technical presentations regarding the impact of proposed changes to the solution.

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of software engineering and frontend development experience.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
• Demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Exhibit proficiency in written and spoken English at the B2 level or higher (CEFR).

Nice to have skills:

• Previous experience with public cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
• Competence in backend development (C#/Java).
• Familiarity with Docker containerization.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Leadership and a strong sense of ownership.

• Must hold a valid EU work and residence permit.
