A global financial institution with a major tech hub in Prague is looking for a Senior UI Developer to help build and evolve modern desktop applications for Credit Trading & Sales. You’ll work on user-facing tools used in real-time for fixed income / credit workflows, including pricing and sales enablement, with a strong focus on performance, stability, and scalability.The applications are built on OpenFin (desktop runtime) and designed for high-volume trading environments where responsiveness and reliability are critical.
Popis Pracovní Pozice
- Design, develop, and maintain front-end components for OpenFin-based desktop trading applications.
- Improve performance and resilience (UI responsiveness, rendering, data handling, reliability under load).
- Collaborate with backend engineers, QA, product, and business stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver features.
- Contribute to code reviews and promote engineering best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Follow secure coding practices and help strengthen the overall delivery pipeline (testing, CI/CD, release quality).
Požadujeme
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular (other modern frameworks are a plus, but Angular experience is highly valued).
- Solid background in TDD / unit testing and a quality-first mindset.
- Experience building complex UI applications (not just simple websites).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Nice to have
- Experience with OpenFin (or similar desktop/web runtimes).
- Proven skills in front-end performance tuning and scaling.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and Git-based workflows (e.g., GitLab).
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes / cloud environments.
- Awareness of fixed income / credit trading concepts (bond trading mechanics is a plus).
